Arktis Radiation Detectors Ltd

Arktis is a Swiss high-tech start-up incorporated 2007 in Zurich, Switzerland. Arktis has invested four years of development to demonstrate and prove the merits of a technology originally developed by ETH Zurich for astro-particle physics experiments at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

Arktis’s platform technology allows revolutionary new capabilities in the detection of neutron and gamma radiation emitted by radioactive materials.

Arktis has identified applications of the technology in four rapidly growing vertical markets totaling nearly USD 14 billion annually. Of these, the ~ USD 2 billion market for Radiation Portal Monitors (RPMs) has been selected for market entry.
